An artist whose work I liked took down her page. Her artwork had an interesting style. I'm hoping she'll put up a tumblr or something, but it kind of made me think about all the work I've seen on the web that motivates me to do my own stuff. What happens when that work is taken down and you can no longer see it? No backups or archives. The stuff that influenced you is gone. Makes you want to save stuff even if there are multiple copies online. Never know when it will be taken down.
